This pub is a real corker !..beautiful and traditional with glorious gardens nestled in the hills behind the Cambrian coast, it is DEFINATELY the best pub in Ceredigion. It offers great home made food, guest ales- and the best pint of Guinness to be found for miles- a warm, friendly atmosphere, complete with a cosy fire. Monique and Rob are the particularly gorgeous hosts. They make a fine team, combining professional hospitality with a personal, warm and humourous manner. The pub keeps locals and visitors well amused with themed nights and excellent live music- catch the fabulous 'Whisky Mac' playing there regularly. We all could do with a local pub like 'The Crown'-it's got it all- thanks, Monique and Rob- we love it !!

Went here a couple of times when we we were on holiday nearby. Extremely friendly staff and very good food, comparable with good London restaurants. Specials board that must change on a very regular basis as it was different each time we went in. Most impressive was when I completley messed up my wife's main course order and she wound up with something she hated. They just took it away and gave her another dish free of charge without us even asking. Very impressive service. Also good play area outside and nice atmosphere in the bar area if you just want a drink. Highly recommended.

What a great day! We held our wedding reception here at The Crown. The new owners Monique and Rob helped to make our day really special. The gardens are absolutly beautiful full of flowers which were perfect for our photo's. The restaurant itself is lovely and fully of Oldy worrldy character. The room we used was decorated beautifully and even our 3 dogs were welcomed. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the menu choices were great even for us vegetarians! Would definetly return again.
